Playing a musical instrument is a joy. But to do learn is that all too often not filled most joy. This poses a problem when trying to teach children, especially in this age of instant gratification. Children (a trend and they) so many adults now want - and not later.
Therefore, it is difficult to get and keep a child's attention. Combine this with the knowledge that play well to any musical instrument, involving a lot of practice and dedication. Practice isnot inherently fun. In fact, it is slow in general. There are also exert pressure. If a child is learning an instrument that will not play as a "cool" by his colleagues, the child will be teased.
I think you first have to capture the attention of children. I also believe that children are things in the beginning, they feel that they should accomplish something real and tangible learning. Also, the idea of learning to play like an instrument shouldstrongly encouraged and passionate. The music is indeed an expression of passion. It is logical learned, but expressed passionately. Music is the universal language that all boundaries of race, religion, color crosses and political affiliation. Finally, I believe, that make for goodness sake, there's so much fun as possible - at their level.
All of us involved in teaching music should try to figure out ways to get kids more and more about how to play musical participationInstruments.
